Seeing my all-time favorite car at Pebble Beach was like walking up on a sleeping dragon. This is the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1. and it’s the most powerful Vette ever produced. This beast packs a supercharged 6.2 V8 engine with 755 hp and 715 lb-ft of torque. It’s capable of hitting 212 mph and goes from 0-60 in 2.85 seconds (yikes!) So it’s not surprising that Road and Track Magazine named it the 2019 Performance Car of the Year. I’m just glad that this beast was napping when I found him so that I could get a closer look.
