DUB-ing on the Gullwing

Posted by Matthew Bryant on

If you’ve ever read DUB Magazine, then you are pretty familiar with the wild and sometimes outrageous modifications people do with their cars.  It’s one thing to see a DUB-worthy car in a magazine, but it’s a totally different experience to see one up close and personal. This is a modded 1955 Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing.  I’m sure most car enthusiasts would have an issue seeing an iconic car get this sort of upgraded treatment, but this car was amazing to see. Its unique exterior color is awesome, but the custom blue leather interior promptly catches your eye.  Modified leather latches hold the hood and trunk while Toyo tires keep the car planted on the road.  A performance exhaust system and a few engine mods helped make this car a very impressive site to see.  No wonder it was featured in DUB Magazine.
