Well Stung Indeed

Kia shocked everyone when they released their first GT sedan, the Stinger.  Even I admit that it puts up some impressive numbers: 365 hp, 376 lb-ft of torque and 0-60 in 4.7 seconds.  Rear wheel drive comes standard, but all wheel drive is also an option (even on a base model). I have driven the Stinger GT a few times and it really is impressive.  Why you may ask? Because a performance sedan is something no one ever expected from Kia. And they are dead serious about challenging the competition, hiring Peter Schreyer to do the overall design and getting Albert Biermann to do the powertrain (Google them if you have no idea who theses legends are).

At SEMA 2017, Kia had a pair of Stingers tricked out by West Coast Customs.  Both vehicles were amazing, but this one really got my attention: the GT Federation.  Aftermarket add-ons include a rear spoiler and diffuser, Borla exhaust system, cold-air intake, and 20-in tires to tie it all together.  Take a bow, Kia: you stung me with this one.
